Windows XP operating system Installation Problem

Good day,

Maybe theres a problem in your OS installer if your using disk try to change OS disk and burn a new one, if you have an ISO image of windows XP installer.

Maybe you can try to use bootable USB installer if you have, if you don't, here is my tips how to make USB installer for windows/make bootable windows XP on USB flash drives.

Below are some reason why installation failed:

  • Try to check HDD maybe there is a bad sector on it that why you can't continue to install your Windows. Solution: Change your HDD
  • Try to change power supply (SATA cord) then continue to install windows.
  • Check your CPU heat sink maybe the temperature is above normal. Solution: Remove the heat sink and replace the silicon grease on top of the processor then put it back then install your windows.

I hope this will solve your problem.
