CBS Modify Sur login this area:

C:WindowsLogsCBSCheck SUR.

Only do this after powering the System Update Readiness Tool. Then Go Down to the most past content and it provides you information nearly why Windows Update failed. Something had seemingly happened to a few of the registry keys.

It may be like this in the Log "Can't find visibility" and "Can't find current state" for 2 precise old updates. If yes then it is unusual. Create new Visibility and Current Refer keys for the ones that are nonexistent. Now try as many as time you want update for sure.

Hi Aldrin,

I think you are having trouble with Windows vista, first of all my suggestion is to change your OS to Windows 7, its 200 times better than vista.

Now answer to your problem, Make sure you are using a genuine version of vista, if no then nobody can help, you are violating the laws. If yes its the problem with your OS, contact Microsoft they are always happy to help guys who have their GENUINE products. Just try repairing your windows vista using your DVD installation disk and if still continues then re – install windows vista.

Hope that helps solve your problem.
