Hi,

I have upgraded a faulty pci-e video to a higher-performing card that has been recently released. However, users are still complaining that the windows vista still hangs all the time. It also gives other errors. What could be the root cause of this problem?

Thanks for the answer.

Hi,

When you add or change PCI express cards mostly your power supply requirements change. Please check the manufacturer guidelines to make sure you have enough power to run this card.

Check technical documentation of your motherboard, usually it recommends a specific PCI-E slot for best performance.

Make sure that you have correct device driver installed for your operating system.

Hope these tips help you.

Hey Janajacobb, Hello there,

Man lets face it Windows Vista is not that good operating System, And I will not stop here its a bad operating system from Microsoft ever, according to me. Well it usually hangs and sucks a lot, I mean believe me with a good configuration also my system used to hang when I used to have it but I eventually upgraded to windows 7.
