What are the common features between iPhone Operating System and Windows Operating System? I would like buy a Windows phone for a friend as a birthday gift even though she loves iPhone however, I humbly request you to help me persuade my friend by helping me list the possible similar features of both OS. Windows is the latest OS for mobile platform. Since Microsoft has been dominating PC market with its Windows, the company also wished to have the smartphone market on their hand. But luck isn’t with them, I think. So, no one likes the Windows Phones so much. Only Nokia is the one that’s manufacturing Windows Phones.
There are many troubles in Windows Phone. The development of a Windows Phone app costs a lot as such development is only available from Microsoft’s Visual Studio which costs $499. Also, skills on different language like C#, XAML is required to develop such apps. So, not a lot of developers develop Windows apps. So, the Windows App Store is barely empty. Even a single, simple game sizes more than 1GB, which makes users hate this.
On the other hand, Apple’s iPhone is powered by iOS 8. There are millions of apps for this platform, as Apple’s ancestral administrator, Steve Jobs made it tremendously popular.
The best choice would be gifting an Android phone. It’s the most popular mobile OS, as it’s open-source, easy to develop and easier to use. There are trillions of games and other apps available for this platform.
If you think your friend won’t mind, you should gift him Windows Phone. If you’re not sure, it’s best to gift her what she likes, as I mean, iPhone. Elsewhere, you should think of gifting Android, the best of the best.
