I desire to identify how I can insert files from a set of connections folder. I will be happy if you help me to remove this error.

Please also let me know why this error messages are caused and what way I can fix this.

Files cant be added directly from a network folder into Movie Maker, Copy the files to your computer and then try again.

Windows Movie Maker unable to add files

Windows Live Movie Maker is one of the best tool for editing or creating videos on Windows 7. But it does not allow you to use any file directly from any network folder. You have to copy those files to your hard drive to edit it in windows movie maker. This functionality is not provided to the user of window movie maker.

Hi Pat,

Windows Movie Maker is not designed to work in a multi user environment where the files are found from a network drive. What you want to do is to create a copy of that image folder from the network drive and then put it on your desktop to faster search. If your network drive is set via mapped drive, try going through the file via UNC where in you have to open each folder one by one or via the long way in this way the software can detect that it is trying to access a common drive.
