Hi experts,

I am unable to play video and audio files using Windows Media Player while these were protected in the Zune software. Have you familiar with this problem? I want assistance to fix the following error ASAP. I hope you can provide me the best solution to handle this problem. Thanks in advance.

Windows Media Player

Some of your protected file must be refreshed to ensure your can continue to use them.

Do you want to connect to your online store and try to refresh the files? Once your sing in.the refresh will occur in the background.

Hey Mr. Fred,

You seem to have bought some media content from the Zune marketplace. This means that the content you have has got Digital Rights Management. DRM prevents content to be played on other media devices except Zune player or Xbox pass devices.

You will need to buy rights to be able to play your content on other devices and via other media players .

You also cannot burn these files to CD without proper rights.

You need to go to the XBOX support center to get the required rights.

But obviously, that would incur extra expenses. You can simply go to the given link and downlad the free software available there. This software  allows you to run over DMA protection. Try it and see if it helps:
