I am using AVG 2012 free edition. The Scan found lot of threats. I have removed all items from the virus vault but there is one file that I required. Because of that I am not able to play Media Player Classic and Windows Media Player. It pops up an error message with Code r6002. The error message is ‘Floating point support cannot able to load’.

Please help me to resolve it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Georgia,

You can try to update your MPC or WMP Player to its latest version. Installing the new update release would definitely fix this kind of issue. Since the maker of MPC and WMP update/ upgrade / fix bugs to isolate cases such error like this. If the problem still persist after installing latest updates in your player, run a program that could trace a Malware in your computer. Possible reason is that one of your application files were infected by a Malware. If still persist, run a Registry cleaner. One of your Windows registry records maybe corrupted.

A windows error repair tool would definitely fix the job.

Hope it helps.

This error message shows an application name – it means that application cannot run further. That means that this application may be infected due to malware or registry file related to this application is corrupted.

For this you have to install registry fixer software to fix that file. Or scan your computer for malware. If it don’t work you simply install fresh copy of that application.

Thanks.
