Hi there,

I want to install Media Player on my PC with Windows 7 (x86) and I have this kind of error. I have the right installer for Windows 7 (x86) and still this appears. I copied the .dll file on that folder and is not working either. Can anyone help me please to fix this one ?

Thank you !

Windows Media Player cannot install due to missing DLL files

Hello Austin,

This issue is because you are having conflict in DLL files. Instead of using 32x Window media player version I suggest you to  Install 64x version of window media player. As a different solution you can download latest version of DirectX, this will resolve the conflict of DLL files.
