Hi,

When ever i use media player 11 i get the below message. Can anyone suggest

It always shows even after its validation but my windows are genuine

I think not. If your Windows is genuine then this error would have not been displayed.

This error appeared because you tried to upgrade Windows Media Player 9 to Windows Media Player 11.

I also tried to do an upgrade of Windows Media Player in my computer and just like you that error message also appeared.

But I admit that I am using a counterfeit. But in your case, your Windows platform is not original. Although you thought it was original.

Before Windows can upgrade its Media Player, the upgrade program needs to check first the operating system if it is original.

The upgrade program that is downloaded from Microsoft has a built-in genuine checker to ensure that the upgrade can only be used in genuine versions.
