Windows Live Messenger error signing with a wrong password

Hi there,

This morning when I tried to log into my Windows Live Messenger this error appeared. I never changed my password since I have this account and now it seems is not working. I can’t change my password because I forgotten some data about my account. Is there any way to fix this ? How can I solve this error?

Hello,

Sometimes you caps lock is on when you typing the password. Please ensure that is not the case.

You firewall might be blocking the connection, disable your firewall temporarily and try to login.

Clear the cookies and cache of internet explorer. Also you can try logging into windows Live ID on the web browser. See if it works.

Finally if nothing works out, change your password by clicking on forgot your password. If you forgot your security question to reset the password contact support .
