I was updating my live essentials but this error is not permitting me to, Im just using the 2011 version of it, do I need to remove this version and install a fresh updated version?

Hi, 

The catch to this trick is that you already have a newer program that does not support any older program types anymore. You simply can outdate it, just updates are allowed. So go to Start-Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs and delete all Windows Live program data, so your computer is clean from it. Then go to the official site and download the version you want. Once you install it, it will ask do you wish to update. Just click no, to avoid having the same problem again.
