Windows Live could not install programs

I would like to always chat with my friends using the Windows Live Messenger and I thought maybe its time I install it. So there, I tried installing the 2009 version on my computer running Windows 2003 server. When I run the installer, just after clicking a few steps up to where the process should now be installing, I get the error below. Does anyone know how to solve it?

Windows 2003/2008 and also the 64-bit PCs are not yet supported by Windows Live Messenger. There are fix available online but the steps provided will require you to use some illegal methods which are completely illegal. Those steps will require you to modify your Windows' Resources. And we do not recommend it to all our Techyv users.
