This error can occur when you delete the network bridge from the Network connections. Here is an easy way to resolve the error, just follow the steps –

  1. Firstly, you should remove all the network adapters from the network bridge. Follow the below-mentioned steps for doing so –
  • Go to start menu and select Control Panel from it
  • In the control panel, go to network connections
  • Go to Network Bridge and right click on it, and select properties
  • Go to General tab
  • In the list, untick the check box for installed adapters on the system, and click ok

2. Now, you should remove MAC Bridge Miniport

  • Go to start menu
  • In the run, type devmgmt.msc and click ok
  • In the Network adapters, uninstall the MAC Bridge Miniport by right click on it and selecting uninstall
  • Click ok.

Unfortunately, you did not include the name of the program which caught the error. That would help somehow to find the exact solution to the problem. Anyway, if that’s the first time you receive the error, just try restarting the application. If it worked, the error is probably just a glitch. If this didn’t work, try restarting your computer and then run the program again.

See if it works. If this, too, didn’t work, try reinstalling the application. Download and install Revo Uninstaller Free. Once installed, start Revo then select the application with the error among the applications. Click “Uninstall” then follow the instructions to completely remove everything the program created on your machine. After this, download and install CCleaner Free. Once installed, start CCleaner and clean your system.

Restart your computer afterwards then install the application back and see if it works. Also, try updating the program to the latest version. If you want to register CCleaner, download the Codes and follow the instructions.
