Dear user,

The reason why you are having this error is that may be you have your Event Log disabled for your firewall.

You have to change the settings, then set it to automatic and then start it again.

Now, you should open the Remote Access Auto Connection Manager, it should not give you any error now.

Finally, you can start your Security Center and Firewall.

Hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Hi Blair Q Johnson,

The solution is here-

1. Go to the Registry Editor and browse the key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesSharedAccess”

2. Press on right click “SharedAccess”, and click on “Permissions”.

3. Now just click on Add.

4. Where “Enter the object names to select” field, type just here “NT SERVICEmpssvc”. Then click on “Check Names” and now change the name “MpsSvc”

5. Just click on OK.

6. You should now select “Full Control” in the “Allow column”.

7. Now again click on OK.

Now you can apply on all the Windows 7 versions and Windows Vista version

Thank you

Hello Blair,

This may be a temporary error, please restart your system and it might be solved.

If you have another antivirus software and its firewall is enabled then disable Windows firewall.

This might happen due to missing some files or some files or drivers might be corrupted of Operating System that support for it.

Try repairing or reinstalling drivers again.

Try changing firewall settings and enable again and click ok and restart your machine.

Hope these solutions will work for you.

Thanks,
