Windows Explorer is Not Responding when using Internet Explorer

I got headaches every time I used Internet Explorer! Why is it that the windows were not responding every time I open a new window?

In Mozilla Firefox the windows were responding. I have just got worried because these problems occur several times now.

I did the restart the computer but nothings happened. I checked the internet status the connection was good.

What do you think maybe the problem of the Windows Explorer?

Is my computer had a problem?

Is it a Virus who screws the windows?

How can I fix the problem is there any way?

What would be the best thing to do?

Post your concerns here thank you.

  • This is a common problem and it is because of connectivity issues with browsers. Some browsers detect proxy settings and therefore are unable to connect. Internet Explorer also hangs while connecting.
  • Sometimes it is a temporary problem and reloading the website two or three times results in a connection.
  • If the problem persists then you may need to uninstall Internet Explorer and re-install it again. Also, an antivirus scan is recommended.
  • If your Internet Explorer is a older version try using the upgraded version.

Hi,

This is a common problem from a vista User, according to Microsoft they release a new patch that fix this problem, but I didn’t try it out because I resign using vista because of several problems I’ve encounter using it. Anyway your problem is about your explorer; try this simple trick if it works for your OS.

1. Right click on the taskbar and click property.

2.Unlike the clock in the notification area tab.

3. Click ok, log off to save changes.

4. When you get the back to your system rename the timedate. Cpl in

5.%Windows root%system32 folder to timedate-cpl.bad

Hope this solve your problem.

Dear Bryants,

This is a common problem from Windows 7 User. My simple suggestions to avoid this kind of error just install your Windows again. If it is not possible then just ignore these things or follow the below procedure. Right click on the taskbar and click property.

1. Click the notification area tab.

2. Go to ok, log off to save changes.

It may work but I am not sure.

Thanks and Regards

Manik
