I tried to push McAfee VirusScan 8.8 to clients in the network. I noticed that all the applications except McAfee VirusScan 8.8 is installed. Then I attempt to proceed with manual McAfee VirusScan 8.8 installation process on the Windows 7 workstations.
Then I am the following error.
“Windows Defender is installed and I will have to remove Windows Defender 1st.”
I have not found ‘Windows Defender’ installed. Do you know the solution?

You can find easily Windows Defender by some steps. First of all go to start menu of Windows and you will see a search box then type “Defender” in it and you will see first option which will be “Windows Defender”. My friend unfortunately we cannot uninstall it but we can disable it. Here are the steps.
(1) Open the Windows Defender go to tools on the top menu.
(2) After that you will see the tab “options” and click on it.
(3) Now you will see the option “Administrator”on your left side drop down menu. When you will click on administrator you will see on your left hand an option “Use the program” you have to unchecked this box to disable then click on save button.
After these steps you will be told that the Defender is turned off.
If you want to really disable it that it will never come back then you can go to "control panel" then go to the "Administrative tools" and then go to "services" and from there you can change status of Windows Defender.
