Hi,

This error is caused when you try to use two operating systems and then delete one of them, or you use an application that might have tempered with the boot files.

You can recover this by booting from your DVD and choosing repair option. From recovery console, type “diskpart” and then type “listdisk”. Select the disk where your window partition is saved like “select disk 0” and then type “list partition” then select your primary drive and type “detail partition”. If it shows [Active: No] then type active and press enter and repeat all the steps, otherwise (if Active: Yes) then type “bootrec /fixnmbr” and then “bootrec /fixboot”. All the errors relating boot will be recovered.

Thanks.
