Hi! Analyn,

AutoStart Explorer will let you decide what software you will include in your AutoStart up Windows. A lesser start up software is enabled and will let your computer run faster when rebooting up. This will give your computer's performance to run faster when rebooting because it only eats too much CPU usage and memory. Toolbars, Software applications,Antivirus, Office applications are one of the examples that needs to be disabled when starting up.

MSCONFIG (Microsoft System Configuration) utility is a feature created in Windows to help troubleshoot problems with your computer and can be used as a tool to ensure that your computer encounter less crashes and runs faster when rebooting. You need to do this to go to MSCONFIG,  Start>>>> Run>>>>  type MSCONFIG in the box >>>>> click OK / Enter.

It has 5 Tabs, namely
  1. General
  2. Boot
  3. Services
  4. Start up
  5. Tools

Each tab has its own function and usage. This will be your special tool to customize usage of your computer when starting up. Hope this information enlightened your understanding about the features.
