The latest, Lenovo is launching again another Windows 8 tablet together with other 5 new touch-based laptops. The tablet is called Lenovo Miix. It has a 10.1-inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels screen resolution that runs on Intel Atom dual-core processor. In this version, Lenovo has attempted to combine the features of a tablet and a regular computer.

The price for Lenovo Miix starts at around $500 and supposedly will have 10 hours of battery. It comes with a 64 GB internal storage, and a microSD slot that is expandable up to 32 GB. It is around 10 millimeters thick and weighs about 550 grams. This Lenovo Miix is only one of the latest “multi-mode device” and Lenovo is still planning to release more products that can be converted from being a laptop and a tablet.

Lenovo also introduced five new touch-based Windows 8 laptops that have starting prices ranging from $429 to $899. Three of those touch-based laptops are included in the Lenovo IdeaPad S Series and are configured on older third-generation Intel core processors. The S210 Touch starts at $429. It runs on Intel Core i3 chip and features an 11.6-inch HD screen.

The S400 and S500 Touch laptops are larger than the first one. S400 Touch features a 14-inch display while the S500 has a 15.6-inch screens both are HD screens. These 2 can be equipped with up to Core i5 processors. The S400 Touch is at $449 while the S500 Touch is at $579. All these 3 S series laptops weigh from 1.4 kilograms and about 20 millimeters thick.
