Windows 8, Most Talked About OS to be Released on 2012

There is a huge competition of OS's out there and Microsoft just had its Windows 8 developer preview last month which will be released next year 2012.

It was said that it has more advantage than that of Windows 7 when it comes to boot up or start-up time, but is that all that matters?

What else made this new version totally ahead of Windows 7?

Hello Misha,

That's very interesting question. Well, there's nothing wrong in making changes specially when you change for the better. There is no competition between windows 7 and 8 because they are both owned by windows itself.  Ofcourse, windows 8 will be more advanced compared to windows 7.

Windows 8 will be replaced into a new theme, and has a built in internet explorer 10 which has more features and the best of all is that it is optimized by touch screen devices. So it is only a matter of choice.

If you want more advance OS, choose windows 8 in 2012 and if you want simplicity, stick with windows 7. 🙂

Windows 8 is talk of the town already, a play of released in early 2012 is already approaching. There are features that they carry over from Windows 7 plus an upgraded and updated software they made up of.

Windows 7 is in my view, the coolest version of all Windows operating system released by Microsoft followed by Windows XP. However, we're not able to see yet what Windows 8 can offer in terms of popularity, features, functionality and other added tweaks. Preview released by Microsoft is kind a enticing and interesting.

I am waiting for this and I'm pretty sure, Microsoft will come up on top again because of this operating system. There are competition between Operating System from Microsoft and Macintosh but we haven't see yet the full details of what this Windows 8 have.

At this point, we can't give Windows 8 a five star rating but basing on what Windows 7 have, a rating closed to perfection if I may give my part is an open mind that we need to watch out for.

Windows 8 adds and has better support for touchscreen input in addition to the well known keyboard and mouse input devices.

It also adds ARM processors in its supported central processing units list besides the x86 AMD and Intel processors. Windows 8 will be using a different user interface based on Metro where instead of having a Start Menu like what we have been used to, it will sprt a Start Screen where the shortcuts will be located.

A new authentication method will also be introduced instead of the traditional password. This new operating system can also be run from a USB connected drive through Windows To Go. Evidently there will be very significant changes going to Windows 8 from Windows 7.

Hopefully it won’t be another Vista when it comes.
