Can any one give me some good tips and tricks for windows 7?
Windows 7 tips and tricks
Here are some tricks for windows 7 for performance.
1. Go to start search msconfig.exe and open.
2. System configuration will pop-up.
3.Click on Boot tab and then advance options.
4. Check on the box on Number of Processors.
5. Lastly choose the highest number of processors you have.(if you have 2 or more processors)
For Visual Effects on Desktop.
1. Right Click "My Computer" or "Computer"
2. And go to Advance system settings
3. Advance and then Performance click settings pop-up window will appear
4. Check only this option

Enable Aero Peek, Enable desktop composition, Enable transparent glass, Show thumbnails instead of icons, Show translucent selection rectangle, Smooth edges of screen fonts and Use visual styles on windows and buttons.Â

This will reduce some effects on your desktop but it will be smoother and more responsive than the full effects enabled. Still it is up to you if you want all the effects enable. Good day.

Rapid Windows Lock Tips:
If you wish to instantly lock your laptop, just press the Windows +L.
For Show hidden files and folder:
If you want to view hidden files and folders, launch the Windows search box and then type folders. Select the Folder options on the search list and then go to the read tab. Check the Show hidden files, folders and drives option.
Launch Windows Explorer instantly:
Press Windows +E to instantly open Windows Explorer.

- Windows Icon+Up = To maximize the window
- Windows Icon+Down= To minimize the window
- Windows Icon+Home = To minimize all window
- Windows Icon++ = To zoom in
- Windows Icon+- = To zoom out
