I have this problem on my desktop whenever I boot up. It gets stuck at Windows 7 boot screen before the log-in screen. After that it restarts repeating the same scenario. By the way, a clicking sound comes from the hard drive whenever it boots up. I cannot figure out what the problem is. My hard drive is a Western Digital Caviar Blue 320 GB and is barely 2 years since I bought it. Here is the photo of my hard drive and the boot screen.

Windows 7 stuck at loading screen and restarts
Hi,
There are two ways to solve this problem.
1. When it happens you will start your computer again. Start your computer and press F2 or F8 button to go into safe mode. Here you will find many conditions for starting your computer. Select “Start your computer from the last known good condition that worked”. It will recover your data.
2. You can restore manually from the previous time. Go to the start menu then all programs then accessories then system tool then system restore. You will face this type of box.
Here select restore my computer to an earlier time and set the time and date that you want to go back. After completing this process restart your computer.
