Hi,

I am a user of Windows 7. Recently I heard that Microsoft has released Windows 7, Service Pack 1. So, I wanted to try it and install it on my PC. But after installing this, I am having a problem with my PC.

The problem is, if I give a high load in my PC, it restarts, showing Blue screen error. I also can’t install Games for Windows Live & play games using it. Please someone help me. Thanks in advance.

Your problem is OS related. So, it can’t be fixed using other means. There are two options for you. The first option is, to go back to Windows 7 Version 7600 leaving Windows 7 SP1 Version 7601. Because it has less problems than SP1.

There is also another option for you. You can download Windows Latest Fix for Windows 7 SP1.

It is a fix, that can fix all the bugs that are in the SP1. I'd select the second option because, Windows 7 SP1 has more security upgrades and more user controls than previous version.

For your second problem, I have found another thread in this forum which describes it very well. I am giving you some hints. You can’t play using GFWL because, it is not supported by Windows 7 SP1. It is only supported by XP, Vista & Windows 7(Not SP1).

So, you have to wait for the updated version of GFWL or can setup Windows 7 again.
