I used Windows 2003 and Internet Security and Acceleration Server for blocking unwanted websites but a client in Windows 7 could not get an internet connection.
Can someone please give me a step by step procedure on how to set up the internet correctly?

You may connect your internet by two different ways in windows 7. Here following the details step:
1st Method :
You may connect internet via dial up connection setting in your PC. At first click on “Start” button and then select “Control Panel”, then select “Network Connections” Then dial up option will appear in your window, now connect internet by pressing on dial up.
2nd Method:
You may connect internet through Modem. At first connect your modem into the USB port, Then install the modem software and after complete installation modem you should click on “Connect” option. This option will appear when you run modem software and when your modem stay connects with computer’s USB port.
