There are some problems with the desktop icons of my computer as my PC shuts it down automatically and after restart the icons are huge.

Am I supposed to do re-installation of OS?

No, it is not really required to do re-installing your OS.

Just go to your Desktop and try one of the following combinations to decrease your icons size,

1. Press Ctrl and Scroll down with your mouse.

2. If you are not having Scrolling option in your mouse then use Ctrl + Minus sign to decrease icon size.

This might be helpful for you.

Open device manager to see either the device is put in or not by checking show driver. Power disruption can be the origin of crooked drivers.

For device manager:

  • Click the beginning button > Start Menu > management Panel > System and Security > Device Manager

    • If you witness a yellow mark on the show driver it means you are required to install the driver once more. Next step is to adjust the screen resolution if the driving strength is executing appropriately.

For Adjusting screen Resolution:

  • Click on personalize when the window appears after right-clicking on the desktop, Open the “see also” list at the bottom left of the window,  select the display option. Click on “adjust resolution” to choose the correct resolution for your monitor to operate properly
