Windows 2000 error – Please Help

Hi

I am using an old Think pas with OS windows 2000. I have recently upgraded it to SP-4. I have tried scanning my files with SFC, but I receive an error every time that my files cannot be scanned. I loaded a newer version of KERNEL.dll, but I still get the same error on scanning my files.

I am gone through many websites, and they all say that their scanners can help me get rid of this error but to tell you the truth, I have not yet tried any except SFC.

I have only one Video LAN card and when I try to install the Adobe Flash player, I get the following error on my screen:

install_flash_player_32bit.exe- Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point SetDllDirectoryW could not be located in
the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll

Has anyone else encountered such a problem and found a solution?

Please do let me know to resolve the issue.

Looking forward to your replies

Regards

Alex

Dear Doriswneil,

Try to download and install the latest adobe flash player from the following URL:

1. If you use Internet Explorer download from here.

2. If you use other browsers download from here.

These versions are compatible with Windows 2000 and won’t cause kernel DLL errors.

It is recommended that you use Internet Download Manager to download them.

Best regards,

Don Muench
