Hi experts,

I set 3.0 up and then I attempted to uninstall but got an error message saying Win64 not supported. Hence I had installed 3.01  but didn’t face any problem. I attempted uninstalling to observe if I found an error message and I got. However I didn’t face any troubles removing 2.0 versions. I got the following error message:

Win64 not supported

Alert

Win64 not supported

The author of the package you are installing did not include support for this platform.

Need your help.

Thanks.

Looks like you do not have the “iawin64_x64.dll” which should be on $USER_INSTALL_DIR$/uninstall/resource/, wherein what will probably show what you have is “iawin32.dll” instead. If this is indeed true, what you can do is the missing file during the installation process. In order for it to allow you to uninstall using 64-bit. You can actually get the 64-bit dll from C:Program Files…..InstallAnywhere <Your Version>resourcenativetoolswindows. Once you have it just go to Install tab of the InstallAnywhere then choose “uninstall” folder. From there, just put “iawin64_x64.dll” into its subfolder which is “resource”.

Now, add the correct rules for the action to match what you need to be done.
