First of all the looks of windows 7 its kind of advanced.

Second the support of all new application that never runs in XP flat form because of newer .net framework.

Third advance computer hardware is a good team up with windows 7.

Fourth Easy to use for the newbies with complete help information in every mouse point.

Fifth advance, fast, stable and well build that fix all bugs and the backdoor windows XP cmd change password has remove.

Sixth fast in processing application.

and etc.

Windows XP is fast i have a high respect to this OS but the support is more important than using it .

Will Windows 7 beat Windows XP?

I think Windows 7 is doing great in desktop computing as I experienced its rich features and performance on my desktop and laptop alongside with Windows XP on my desktop and Linux Ubuntu on my laptop. I am encountering something laggy when I am trying to open XP on my desktop. Though a lot of things are compatible with XP especially those 32-bit applications that lacks support in Windows new platform. I am getting better ways up on my Windows 7 OS especially the graphics performance with the same hardware specifications.

Probably, it can beat XP if it will have a lot of updates and patches and service packs. But I guess, Windows 8 is about to be marketed, so it may be left out by it.

Windows XP is stable in almost everything, from applications to custom made enterprises, it did even outshone 7 and Vista in several benchmarking tests. It is the widely used OS here in our place for businesses to date.
