I have been hearing all sorts of crazy rumors regarding the IPhone 5. The one that catches my eye is a 3D camera . That would be awesome. Has anyone heard any solid information on this.Â

Though all of the features of the new iPhone 5 are yet to be revealed, the truth of the matter is that it very well could be on the new device. Apple has put a bunch of patents in on 3D displays, cases, and cameras for the past couple of years and has recently put a patent on a 3D interface with eye tracking technology. So will the new phone have a 3D camera or 3D display? Maybe! They have all of those patents for one reason or another, and it may be the iPhone 5.
The reason I feel that it may not have the 3D camera is that 3D technology, in the retail market, has not done so well. Truth is that even though iPhone 5 may not have 3D technology involved, Apple has 3D technology waiting in the wings for whatever it is they decide to release it on next!

It is not yet clearly confirmed the upcoming features of iPhone 5. But there are many rumors of them.
And yes many say that to expect this 3D camera on new iPhone.
And apple has apparently published some details of patent registered by apple outlining a 3D imaging camera.
However this doesn’t give you the certainty of having this cool improvement in your next iPnone or iPad. But who knows this could be great and could be available in the next iPhone and iPad.

The primary camera supports 8 megapixels with f/2.4, 33mm, LED flash, and autofocus featuring face detection, panorama, 1/3.2″ sensor size, 1.4 µm pixel size, HDR (photo), touch focus, and geo-tagging. It can record video in 1080p at 30 fps. The secondary camera supports 1.2 megapixels with f/2.4 and 35mm and can record video in 720p at 30 fps featuring FaceTime over Wi-Fi or Cellular and face detection.
It has 3.5-millimeter jack featuring 16-bit/44.1kHz audio and active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with dual-band and hotspot support, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and LE support, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support, and USB 2.0 reversible connector. It doesn’t have stereo FM radio. It has built-in accelerometer, proximity, compass, and gyro sensors. The preinstalled Safari web browser supports HTML5.
Java is not supported. It runs on non-removable 5.45 Wh Li-Po 1440 mAh battery with standby time up to 225 hours both on 2G and 3G. Talk time is up to 8 hours both on 2G and 3G. It is available in black/slate and white/silver colors.
