I have heard a rumor that the iPhone 5 will come with a 4G port for internet connection. If this proves to be true I will have to switch over to the light side.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Hi Carey,

Lately everyone is wondering about iPhone 5, its release date, its look, specifications, price, etc. We have been hearing rumors of 4G/LTE iPhone since long, but this is yet to be confirmed. It is supposed to have the next generation of Qualcomm chips.

So I would suggest to just wait and watch on what is the iPhone going to bring. :)

Thanks.

Dear user,

There have been many rumors about much advancement to be come from the new iPhone 5. And yes the new iPhone 5 most probably use the latest 4G service along with the existing 3G network.

According to CNET some people report that Qualcomm is the provider of the chip (CMDA). And AT&T and Verizon have upgraded their network infrastructure in order to support with 4G.

And also 4G is the market name for LTE, the Long Term Evolution in the telecommunications world.

Thank you.
