I've just read in a forum that the new IOS 6 Beta 4 removes the YouTube app.
Does this mean I will not be able to get YouTube on future iPhones.
Dear Yvonne, Yes, this is true. Apple has removed the YouTube app from the latest beta version of IOS 6. That doesn't necessarily mean that the final product will be like this. These betas are only for tests and can be changed drastically. Although, that being said, Apple has previously removed another app in iOS 6 – the Maps app that used Google Maps and replaced it with their own proprietary version.Â
Apple might be trying to get rid of all things related to Google from their default version of the next iOS. That doesn't mean that you won't be able to watch YouTube videos anymore. They can still be viewed from the embedded player in Safari or any other mobile browser you are currently using. Also Google might release their own dedicated app to fill this gap. All sorts of possibilities emerge. Don't despair. I hope I have made myself helpful.

The latest beta version of IOS 6 no longer provide you the YouTube app. Which always have been there since the beginning of iPhone era.
But don’t worry Google is working on a new YouTube app to be provided in the app store.
It’s not like you cannot use YouTube. Of course you can, but the app isn’t there.
