Hi guys, I’m using Toshiba E205 S1904. I am running some problems with my WIFI. It’s not working properly.

I also try to install the latest version of the driver (2.1.38.0), but I get an error message. I have updated the HD graphics and WiFi drivers.

But the problem is still the same.

How can i get rid of this ? Any tips?

Thanks.

To resolve the WiFi connection issue for your Toshiba Satellite E205-S1904 you might want to try the following:

  1. Go to https://support.toshiba.com/
  2. Download the Intel WLAN driver version 13.3.0.24.
  3. Save the file to a convenient location like your desktop.
  4. Save all your work and close all applications.
  5. Double click on the downloaded file.
  6. Click on OK, Unzip, OK.
  7. Click on Yes on User Account Control window.
  8. Wait for the Update to finish.
  9. Restart your system.
  10. Check if you are able to install the download successfully.

    • Go to Start.
    • Type Device Manager.
    • Hit Enter.
    • Double-click on Network Adapters.
    • Double-click on Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200 AGN.
    • Click on the Driver tab.
    • Check and verify that the Driver version is now 13.3.0.24.

Toshiba is using different manufacturers of WiFi chips on their laptops. So, for example, if you buy same laptop model (for instance, yours E205 S1904) in USA or Asia, there will be probably different WiFi chips.

Refer this page to identify which chip is used on your Toshiba laptop.

Besides that, you can see manufacturer on the back side of your laptop – there should be a little sticker with information about Wireless radio. Then you can download proper (and newest) driver from this location:

First uninstall your old driver, and then restart your computer. Now you can install new driver.
