Hi. Quickplay 1.x installs on my notebook easily but when I recover the system using recovery CDs then quickplay is no longer available. What is troubleshooting with quickplay hp version 1.x as it installs successfully before recovery?

What you have to do is to create a restore point AFTER you have installed quickplay.
In windows 7, press the windows key on the keyboard, then in the 'search programs and files box' type in restore point, you will see "Create a Restore Point" click on it. Then a tab will open up, you will see a button called "create" click it and your restore point is created.
Please make sure you follow these steps AFTER you installed quickplay or if quickplay is already installed.
What happens here is, when you create a restore point; all your computer settings, software's and so on get recorded. Your restore point is say at 31 March and you installed quickplay on 1 April.Today, you want to restore your computer because it is virus infected.Here it will check for the latest restore point and perform system restore.So your computer will be like the way it was on 31 March, your virus infection is gone and also quickplay is not available.
