Every player runs well, But the difference when I play DVD disk with Cyber link Power DVD 7. It just happen when I start any kinds of DVD video disk. It doesn’t happen when I play another video like avi, mp4, mpg etc.

I have updated my video driver but there is no change. I’m facing this problem about two years.

For your clearance I've attached some file under below. Have a look on it.

Windows 7 Theme changed when playing video in Cyberlink Player

Hi,

Actually, this is a default feature which disables Windows Aero features if any application is using too much video memory.  It is possible that your Power DVD 7 is using too much video memory for DVD video playback. It is sometimes caused by softwares incompatible with Windows 7. And as far as I know, the fully compatible version of Power DVD with Windows 7 is Power DVD 9 or higher. You can try upgrading to a compatible version. My advice would be to get a trial version of Power DVD 10 or 11 and see if that solves the problem.

Also, you can try enabling/disabling hardware acceleration in Power DVD’s video settings.

Windows 7 Theme changed when playing video in Cyberlink Player

Hi Jhonmathon,

  • I think there is no error or hardware problem in your PC. When we use the standard players like Windows Media Player, Vlc media player etc. then they are using an average bit of memory.
  • But when we downloaded some complete package of music players like cyber link power dvd player then it uses excess of memory for playing files. So the problem doesn’t occur when playing mp3 files. But when we play DVD files it uses excess of memory and due to which it changes the color of theme or your theme.

Hope the solution works for you.

Jason.
