Why is my USB platinum driver not recognized

Hello techyv.com!

I have here a laptop, OS is Windows 7 and I've got lots of USB devices and a USB platinum driver. Usually, I'm using my USB for storage because a lot of my files weren't really that heavy enough for the driver. Now, I want to backup my system and when the time that I'm about to use my USB platinum driver, it won't be recognized by my laptop. Please help me, I don't know what to do about this.. Thanks!

Hi Colleen,

Troubleshooting on your computer is one good way of fixing your problem. Your computer might have viruses, best for you to run a full scan on your computer.If this runs good and wont detect any problem in your computer try to troubleshoot on your hardware.If all the other USB's are being detected by the computer except your USB platinum driver try to check on your USB device it might have been damaged if not your USB ports might have been damaged.
