Why is my internet explorer wallpaper block? I downloaded a theme or wallpaper skin for my internet explorer browser. I want some cool and amazing theme but unfortunately it was not compatible. I am using windows xp operating system. Give me some idea why it doesn’t work.

Hi Ava Larry,
Internet Explorer does not 100% support 3rd party add-ones by nature, so if you want to use third party add-ons, download them from trusted sources. I recommend using Firefox or Chrome, as they have a huge number of add-ons, as well as themes and they are way faster than IE.

Hope you are well. As my suggestion at first download an updated version of internet explorer and then try. Secondly if you use windows Xp service pack 2 versions than allow blocked content for your internet explorer browser. Here are the steps to follow:
In Internet explorer click Tools menu. Then select option.
In the Dialogue box select Advanced Tab.
Scroll down for security option.
Click the checkbox “Allow active content to run in files on my computer”.
Click Apply and Ok.
Close the Dialogue box.
Close the Internet Explorer.
Another way, you can change your Internet Explorer privacy settings.
Click Tools from Internet Explorer. Then select Internet Options. Click the privacy Tab.
Allow cookies are the alternative way to get and view the theme on IE.
Hope this will help you. Finally you can update your windows Xp to windows 7.
