Hello,

Mozilla Firefox is a very good internet browser with a powerful engine that makes every task with web faster and smoother. There are many causes that your browser might crash.

First, make sure that you don’t have lots of cache created by Firefox. It generates millions of cache files that eats a large portion of disk space. Whenever you start Firefox, the caches are hosted on its process memory that makes it heavier. With a heavy load, it crashes. Start Firefox, press “Ctrl + Shift + Del” and clean the caches. Clearing the browsing history, download history, cookies are also recommended.

Make sure that you don’t have any problematic extension(s) and plugin(s) installed. Extensions make the browser more and more heavier. Go to “about:addons” and disable the extensions and plugins you don’t need. Restart your browser and enjoy.

If you keep on using Firefox for quite a long time, the process that is hosted on RAM becomes jam-packed. So, when processing this type of jam-packed memory, Firefox faces a good impedo. You ask for performing task, Firefox keeps busy on maintaining the memory and perform your task smoothly. Due to this reason, Firefox crashes. If possible, restart your browser after using 1-2 hours at straight. You can use Restartless Restart to restart your browser quite easily.
