I am running 64-bit operating system and every time I get Minecraft Has Ran Out of Memory message. If I install 64-bit Java it won't appear anymore? I need to know if it is good or bad and how to install that.
Why I should install 64-bit Java for Minecraft?
For starters, any software that has 64 bit run significantly faster than 32 bit software. Installing 64-bit Java may only speed up the performance of the game, but in a real sense the problem may be related to the environment your PC is running on. Try installing Microsoft.Net framework, then run the game again.
You should also uninstall Firefox which automatically installs a 32 bit Java version that may not help with 64 bit game play.
