Hi Keneth,

Can you advise us on what is the email application you are using? You may have to make sure that you open the email you wanted to copy. You then need to highlight it before your right click to choose the option to copy it. You will then need to paste it afterwards on a different email or word file if that is what you need to do.

If you are receiving the windows with your name and signature, you are most likely clicking on the menu tab near signature. So it would be best to make sure that we click on the email part.

Hello,

In order to copy and paste the email, you have to highlight the respected part that you want to copy or complete email by selecting via dragging mouse cursor or by using short cut key “Cltr+A” command and then right click, now you'll have to click on “Copy”. And finally paste, where you want. You can also use short cut keys to copy & paste, the short key for copy is “Ctrl + c” and short key for paste is “Ctrl + v”.

That’s odd. Normally, you can select the entire texts of the email message and be able to copy it. But if a different thing happens after you right-click on the highlighted texts, that’s probably because of the email client you are using. Maybe the email client has a different function assigned to the right mouse button that’s why different windows pop-up when you right-click.

Anyway, there should always be an alternative if the right mouse button doesn’t do what you expect it to do. Since different things happen when you right-click, simply press CTRL + C to copy the entire texts of the email message instead of right-clicking it.

Once the entire message has been copied, compose a new email message and press CTRL + V to paste the texts on the compose screen. That should do the trick. That’s the real purpose why a computer has both the keyboard and the mouse. If the other one doesn’t work, find your way in using the other.
