Hi to mobile users. I have purchased a new iPhone recently and learning how to use different functions and applications in it. Everything is just going to be awesome but I did not find any option for song convert to ringtone. I searched on the internet and tried different method like to go into song detail and change setting but nothing works. Please tell me any proper way to achieve my Goal.

Hello Castane Daslater,

You cannot automatically convert your audio to MP3. You must use a software to create a ringtone, but there aren’t any applications like this for iPhone.

However, you can cut your audio files into small parts to make a ringtone. Just open the audio player application and play the audio that you want. Then, cut the part you want out with the “merge” option and save it.

Now, enjoy.

Thanks.

Hello Castane Daslater,

It is really interesting to convert your favorite song to iPhone ringtone. I also do so. To convert any mp3 format song follow the instructions that are given by PCworld. Another link – How to Convert Songs Into iPhone Ring Tones.

Here is a YouTube video for the conversion.

I think you will not face any problem now.

On iPhone Smartphones, ringtones or iOS ringtones are stored using the MPEG-4 file format and uses the “.m4r” extension. The default audio encoding used for iPhone ringtones is Advanced Audio Coding or AAC supported from 8 to 320 kbps. These files can be played by many different applications like Windows Media Player, iTunes, and QuickTime.

Now, if you want to convert and use a music file or audio file as an iPhone ringtone, you just need to convert the file into M4R format and using the AAC audio codec. The lowest bitrate you can set for your ringtone is 8 kbps and the highest is 320 kbps which gives the highest audio quality.

To convert an audio file and create an iPhone ringtone, you can use Format Factory. It supports Windows NT, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 including Windows Server 2003. Another one you can use is ImTOO MPEG Encoder. It supports Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10.
