Whenever I download the Flash player or Adobe reader from the Adobe website, some antivirus called McAfee gets installed automatically. Is there any way to stop it?
To prevent installation of unwanted software you need to have patience and focus on the screen when the installation setup is being processed. In the case of Adobe Reader, you need to uncheck the install McAfee before clicking on the download button on the page.
This check box is by default set as checked to make the users install McAfee software when their own product is being installed. All you require is a little patience and focus.
