Check with flea power. If your laptop has any external peripheral connection, then remove all along with the AC adapter. Now remove the battery and hold in the power button for 15 seconds. After doing this, put the battery and connect the AC adapter.

If the LED on the adapter goes on, then attach the AC adapter with the laptop and with a good power outlet. Connecting the adapter with the laptop, if the LED of the adapter does not on then the problem is with the motherboard.

When using a laptop, normally, even if the battery is dead the laptop itself should still able to turn on when the charger is connected. Also, you can use it even if you don’t have a battery connected like when the battery is faulty and you removed it from the laptop. With or without the battery, the laptop should work when you connect the charger.

But if the laptop doesn’t turn on, first, check that the charger is working. Check that the charger is connected properly to the power and the power outlet has electricity. Once you verify that the power outlet has power, try plugging the charger again to the power and connect it to your laptop. Turn on the laptop then see if this works.

If this doesn’t work and the laptop still doesn’t turn on, try using a different charger that is compatible with your laptop. Also, try removing the battery from the laptop then connect the charger. If none of these worked, you probably need to bring your laptop to a computer service center for proper servicing.
