Hi there.  I'm trying to use Check Point for full disk encryption.  I get a "cannot encrypt all files" error message.  Why am I having this error CheckPoint full disk encryption?  I'm on a Windows XP 64 bit SP2 system.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Hello Eleni,

You will need to check CheckPoint for file restrictions. Sometimes, files cannot be written to the server share if there are file quota restrictions. You can resolve that by increasing the file quota on the folder. So just go to CheckPoint and make those changes.

Hope this helps.

Hi Eleni Hughes,

There is a restriction for encrypting the files, files can be categorized as normal file, hidden file, system file, read only file and so on and the ones that cannot be encrypted are the system files you can remove the system file attribute of all files by entering "attrib -s C:" on the command prompt console but the risk is high because the system files on C:/windows/system32 will be damage.
