Hello, As I am editing some articles with my publication job, I noticed a little bit slow down on my system, so I restarted my computer and get back to work, when I am about to load the application WhiteSmoke, it failed to load because of an rundll32.exe’ issue.

WhiteSmoke 2011- One or more of the WhiteSmoke files are locked by the ‘rundll32.exe’ process. Please switch to this process to close it and try again.

A I remembered, this problem started when I mistakenly open a file via an infected flash disk, but the virus was healed after I scan my computer with my anti-virus application, but after which I have a problem loading my WhiteSmoke application , please share some ideas on this issue that I posted, thanks.

Hi Timmypark,

Your PC is still infected. I will teach you how to fix it.

1. First Download Malwarebytes to this sit https://www.malwarebytes.com/. It is free. This software is a powerful malware remover.

2. After download install it and update the database. Then Run a full scan. And if there are viruses detected click all and remove it then restart your PC.

3. After removal were done, I suggest you to download CCleaner it is also free to use application. Then Install. After installation run the program and click the Registry in the Left side part of the window. Then Click Scan for Issues then wait for the scan to be completed. Then after the scan has been completed Check all the Issues and click Fix all selected issues. Restart your PC when done.

Hope this Helps.
