While extracting a compressed (zipped) folder I received an error message. The error message is as under.
How can I get a remedy of this issue?

There might be a problem with the zip folder which you are trying to extract. The molder might have been malfunctioned or was not properly configured.
If you have downloaded the file from the internet then check for the alternate file such as ISO or WinRAR. Make sure to download the file without any errors.

The error you are getting occurs when the ZIP file is in a protected area. In order to resolve the problem, you will need to move the ZIP file into one of your user profile sub folders, for instance Downloads, Documents, Pictures, and so forth. After that try to extract the files.

This might be the problem of the zip file. Check its size. If the size is zero, it is of no use. If the size is about 1-2 MB, you can use any of the softwares listed in this techyv article to repair the zipped file and extract.
