Once I have undertaken the rigorous process of carefully planning how my database should look like, what should be the next step to take? For a very large database system, would it be wise to employ one or two experts to assist with the coding or I can just rely on resources on the internet to get the job done? Which tools would I neec to carry out such a monumental project?
Which Tools Are Required to Design Large Databases?
The factors that define large databases are Software, Hardware, Data Volume and Throughput. The database should be available and accessible more easily which enhances the performance. Backup of the database is the most important thing when we develop large database. Design patterns like Transactional data service, fault tolerant data service, real time data bridge, fabric connector are to be considered while developing a huge database. The design of database should be normalized and sufficient amount of Referential Integrity should be there. So, if you have perfect knowledge in designing database, then you ahead or else its better to take make your database get designed by the experts.
