Now I am using dropbox version 1.3.4. I like this version very much. I use dropbox everyday, so I found this version suits me best. Now I see dropbox version 1.4.7 is released and I downloaded it. I didn't install it because I cant loose my favorite version, I need someone who used the new version, and say which one is better. Is there any good upgrades in the new version ?

I think the higher version is 1.4.7. I even have been using DB 1.4.7 for a few time currently, and transfer each audio and video files round the world. it's never failed and don't lost a file, and as long as I clean out unwanted or finished comes, I realize the five Gig I even have to be satisfactory. will specifically what it's imagined to do. Running ok. on each Macbook professional and iMac 3.06 each beneath OS .X 10.7.4. Incredibly straightforward to use and incredibly helpful. The foremost vital factor of this version is to repair a missing translation.

Hi Olivia,

Dropbox can be used to bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere .It allows you to share them easily. You can use the Dropbox to save files to your
computers, phones, and the Dropbox website instantly.

You will get 2GB of Dropbox free. Dropbox version 1.4.7 is better. Hope you have heard about the new releases of Drop box.
They are much more improved and new features have added. The new releases of the
last two months are 1.6.0, 1.6.2, 1.6.3, 1.6.4, 1.6.5.
 

The added features of 1.6.0 are
 

  1. Language Translations for Italian and Spanish
  2. New improved icons.
  3. New Mac installer.
  4. Startup time is less for Mac users with lots of files.
  5. Improved web login from client.
  6. Improved performance through use of Python 2.
  7.  

1.6.2 is :
 

  1. Fix install failure in Windows XP and Vista.   
  2. Fix some Italian translations.      
  3. Fix problem where selective sync windows would be blank after update.
  4. Fix web login not working when Dropbox was not in English.


So you can choose the apt version for your needs. Even if you are comfortable with the older version try to use with the updates version as it may ease you needs.
