Blogger is easier to use but wordpress, I think is more complex but more functional in creating a website or blog. Right now I use both but after buying a domain in few days I just want to start fresh with one. Which one is the best in generating traffic? Blogger is from Google so I suppose there must be something special with it though I'm thinking that there are so much that wordpress can provide and blogger can't.

Both of them are good and both possess there different feature. We can’t dominate one from the other because if one has some good feature then other has some other good feature.
Like blogger allows use of html and JavaScript so word press allows you to drag content easily from there platforms. But if you want to generate traffic on your website then word press will be more helpful because it has feature of search engine optimization.
With this SEO feature it will make your website rank higher in the list on search engine. Thus I think you should go for word press for after domain hosting.

I think both WordPress and Blogger have their own fan following and they head the blog posting utilities WordPress is undeniably free, you just need to have is a hosting plan from a web hosting company and a registered domain name.You can make it to do whatever you want to do . Installing plugins is way too much easier. These plugins do support in generating online traffic as you can put the facebook or other social media plugin on your page.
As far as Blogger is concerned there is no coding needed. It supports virtually all features that a blog should have.  Google’s AdSense Integration is easier with blogger and it does provide easy cash for the website owner.
