I think we are choosing always best solution in our every step. You want to know what is the best backup solution ACRONIS or SYMANTEC.

I think Acronis is the very good solution because ,we use it extensively and  as often as needed. Just as, if not more importantly, their support is second to none – certainly puts Symantec well in the shade. We use Acronis extensively in our  all work place and school, works great for SQL, AD..you name it.

Also if you purchase the 'Universal Restore' option – you can perform bare-metal restores of hardware or even restore backups onto dissimilar hardware.

So Acronis is the best backup solution.

It really doesn’t matter which backup software or backup solution you choose. Both Acronis and Symantec are excellent products so you can expect best results.

Backup software come in different forms. There are ones that will help you create a backup of your system by copying all the data, as what was configured in the program, to another location in the hard drive or maybe in another or different and separate media. I think this is what they call file-based backup method.

There are also software that backs up the system by making an image of the entire hard drive and that image will then be your backup copy.

Acronis True Image 2013 supports Windows XP, Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit, Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit, and Windows 8. This backup software costs $29.99 and if you wish to have it, you can get it.

The latest development in the 2013 version of Acronis is that the Acronis Online Backup service was now replaced by True Image Online. It is a cloud storage service that will give you 250 GB of online storage space that you can use for your backup needs. It costs $4.99 a month but if you will have a 1 year subscription, you can get it for only $49.99 a year.

This will give you a savings of around $9+. And the good thing about subscribing is that 1 single subscription can be used by up to 5 computers and not only that you will also get an additional 1 month free subscription.
