Where to start in using oracle

I am an Oracle Database Administration specializing in Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g and Oracle Applications 11i and R12.  I started studying the Oracle technology two years ago and I am really happy to what I’ve learned. To start learning Oracle Database Administration, you need to have a working knowledge of the Server Operating Systems (e.g. Windows Server 2000-2008, Unix Operating System like Linux, AIX and HP-UX).  You also need to learn SQL because this will be like the language that you need to use so you can talk to the Database engine.

Below are the things that you should do to start learning the Technology.
1. Download Reading Materials or Videos from the Internet. You could start on studying SQL Fundamentals (IZ0-051). There are a lot of Study Materials that you could download from the internet regarding this topic. Once you have learned the basic of SQL, you could continue with Oracle Database DBA 1 Topic (IZ0-052).
2. Register to Oracle Website (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/index.html ) so you could join forums and Download Study Guide Software.
3. Install a Test Oracle Database Instance on your PC or on your test Server.
4. You could also read the following Guide as a Reference.

5. Send me an email or reply to this if you have questions.
